Amado Maldonado Ramírez, born in 1959, Ziquítaro, Michoacán, Mexico, is an artist of surrealist historical art.

He discovered his passion for art in 2010, while he was away from home he decided to send a card to his beloved wife, while he was writing he saw how some silhouettes were formed on the card, he began to follow the line with a pencil, at the end he noticed that he had formed a hand holding a rose, and since that day he has not stopped drawing.

"I don't know how to draw, let alone paint, don't take art classes, or something like that, if it were on my own I couldn't It was just something that I started to see and to continue with the pencil, and when I follow those lines and finish I see something come up amazing! And I know it's the glory of God, I'll rock it" comments Amado.

He currently lives and works between the U.S. and Mexico.
